why do so many people insist that Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap should have been voted for in this year's (well 2009's, if we're being technical..) Hottest 100 ?
and how did Sleepy Head by Passion Pit manage to sneak in this year.. ?
Sleepy Head was released on an EP in 2008, - despite hte fact that it was re-released on their first LP last year - and so the radio caught wind of both of these songs well within the constraints of 2008.
i wish research was conducted and that songs were actually listened to earlier than 6-12 months following their release dates..before the general public begins thinking or audibly claiming that they've loved said artists and songs from day one..
