this was for the easter fair, i still have a whole heap of fisheye photos to get developed from that night, i can't wait !
the bottom skirt is an old petticoat of mum's that i've been searching for for years. i used to wear it in grade 7 to discos with bows tied to it and stuff..cos that's how i do..
it's really lovely, it has tiered layers of this soft netting over the top of a soft satin fabric, too pretty to be worn underneath dresses !
i've been trying more and more to incorpz more black into outfits, and can't help but put multiple belts on almost every time i leave the house these days. i only have two black belts, which is a shame, so i've been wearing them a lot lately. cinched waists just give this faux hourglass shape, i'm loving the legal cheating of it all.
the first photo is a little blurred, and in the second i have one leg half the size of the other for some reason..but the general idea is still there,
this was for easter sunday. i went over the the neighbours to deliver home-made chocolates, haha. mum and i had melted them into easter moulds the night before, it was a really festive little morning.
both of the belts have heart shapes cut out of them along the entire length, and i picked them up at 2 different thrift stores on different occasions despite them both being nearly identical, how bizaare.
the tape measure was only thrown on as a belt at the last minute when i was working on my wearable art piece up in my bedroom. it had started round my neck in between usages, but was rubbing and irritating my neck so i tied it in a bow on my waist and it even managed to match the colours, being blue on one side and white on the other, aw.
