aim: to blog my recent little brainwave - wrong use of word 'brainwave'.. but i cant think of the one i'm after - i just had of funnies from the past few years.
hypothesis: today we got chem exam marks back, and i was/am soo close to finally getting a B, im stoked !
observations: funnies i just remembered;
1. waaay back when the floods were all the rage last feb we had a really huge branch fall off the macadmia nut tree down into the back yard. my brother's bedroom is fairly near the path of that branch, which actually narrowly missed the house and just made a bit of a dint in the lawn, but i remember not hearing much from him for a little while so upon creeping into his room i found him sitting in the dark on his bed playing 'the killing tree' by Paul Colman over and over and over on his guitar and singing quietly to himself..
2. the soon departing norwegian goddess in my life, whom i already miss terribly, was talking to me a few months ago about when she had first arrived in on australian soils and found everyone to be so friendly. first she had said that she'd nearly fell out of her boots when the first Australian shop that she had entered into had a worker who was v conversational; greeting her w/ the expected 'heeellllllooooooooooooooooo how are yoouuu' when she walked in.. because, of course, the chattie relationship between shopekeepers and customers is a fairly typical aussie thing..
she also commented on how she took that on board pretty quickly and easily and so wondered why, when she was out in town or in a shop and saw someone wearing the same school uniform as her, that the boy/girl didn't stop and chat or reply when she said helloooo to them.. haha.. the poor girl hadn't realised that our school is populated 1500+, and was a little devastated when people didn't know who she was.
actually, i just re-read over those stories..not v funny at all to anyone other than myself. haha. how awkward. um. was this worth posting ? err.
so umm radiohead,pnau,ee tee see,..songs that involve kids singing or yelling words creep me out, enough already !
diydiydiydiy. ahh there's so many bits & bobs that i want to get done over these [V SHORT ! >:(] holidays, but i know it wont happen..simply bc it never does. sites like these are theee biggest procrastination tools, its horrible.
here's what i'd LIKE to achieve; #1 above any, RODARTE STOCKINGS ! oh my theyre so lovely..
but apart from that, a corset with studs or something similar, like giselle b's, i think its so lovely. if only i had the leather jacket that i've longed for for years to team it with !
ps, carl barron came into the little russian restaurant that i having dinner in in tonight w my family [have a belated birthday dinner], was so funny. i was silent the whole time just listening to his voice. it made my night.
